The Forgotten Item

Whatever I forgot last time
gets packed first.

I will forget a new thing.
I will remember it next time.

While always different
(deodorant, toothbrush,
sweater, socks),
it's always the forgotten.

    This is funny. Something does always get forgotten even though I made a careful list. The last time I bought all my chargers for my various gadgets on an overseas trip and guess what, I forgot the universal adapter. Awesome piece.
