After all that I have been through
tomorrow is going to be
another day. I'll try anew.

Another poem inspired by this same prompt
I hope your today is a much better day and all of your days that follow.
ReplyDeleteWell said... and thank goodness we have a fresh start each new day!
ReplyDeleteGood haiku!
ReplyDeleteDaydreamertoo - thank you for the kind sentiment
ReplyDeletelaurie - it's nice to get another chance. every chance is a chance to change for the better.
Madeleine - Thank you!
I really like that. I appreciate the feeling of another chance, to do things differently, but mostly just another chance.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this verse, I shall remember
ReplyDeletethis when needed.
Kwee - every little bit helps
ReplyDeleteCynthia - I'm glad you got to see it, then :-)
Lovely use of the prompt, Jess, and so true! I've had to remind myself of that time and time again... along with, "This, too, shall pass." (My mom added, on her deathbed, no less, "Yeah, like a kidney stone!" Dark, dark sense of humor in my family. Hope I'm still tossing off one-liners when I'm in the throes of whatever.)
